* Only available for candidates who have their own accommodation in the Netherlands and can travel to this location independently. As a full time Service Engineer in the maritime sector, you are responsible for inspections, repairs and revisions to keep ship operational. At first this vacancy is focused on the workshop in Gorinchem. Here you will check, de- and reassemble different machinesystems for the maritime sector.

Mainly transmissions and gearboxes, but also other control systems, pump drives, thrusters, pitch propellers, clutches and dampers. Your main tasks will be:

Maintenance and repair of transmissions and gearboxes for maritime for ships.

Inspections, repairs, and revisions of systems on the  the future, repairing of systems at the ships on-site.

About the company

This company is established in 1970 and it is a specialist in drive systems in the maritime and industrial sector. With 50 colleagues you will work together from the homebase in Gorinchem or on location everywhere else in Europe. They are operating in different sectors, including pleasure boating, mega yachts, inland shipping, and so on.

You have it Education or experience in a similar sector, work as a technician in the maritime sector.

Insight in technical processes, willingness to learn.

You are English speaking and able to speak and write fluently in English.

You will get a direct contract from the company itself

Salary between € 2.500 and € 3.750 gross a month

Fixed travel allowance according to the scale of this company.
