JOB OVERVIEWWe have a fantastic new job opportunity for an Administrator / Engineering Administrative Assistant who enjoys working in a busy engineering environment where accuracy and organisation are key.
As an Administrator / Engineering Administrative Assistant you will support the Welding Inspector and wider Quality Department by coordinating documentation, maintaining compliance records and ensuring smooth administrative workflows.
The Administrator / Engineering Administrative Assistant will use strong communication skills, data entry accuracy, and excellent IT capability to manage technical files, digital records and office documentation within structured procedures.
DUTIES- Administration Support: Provide comprehensive administration assistance within engineering‑related activities
- Documentation Management: Maintain technical documentation and compliance records
- Data Entry: Carry out accurate data input, retrieval and database updates
- File Organisation: Organise physical and digital filing systems
- Document Creation: Produce documents, spreadsheets and presentations
- Archiving: Archive records in line with compliance and quality procedures
- Proven experience of working in an administrative role within an engineering environment
- Experience with documentation control, data entry and record keeping
- Excellent communication and IT skills, including MS Office and database management
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow structured compliance processes
- A background in fast‑paced environments with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks calmly and effectively
