We are currently recruiting for a Receptionist to support a busy NHS hospital site in Great Yarmouth. These are fixed‑term positions for 9 months, offering a competitive £14.00 per hour PAYE.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a professional healthcare environment, providing a high‑quality reception and administrative service to patients, visitors, and clinical teams.

Key Responsibilities
Act as a first point of contact for patients, visitors, and staff
Receive and direct patients courteously and efficiently
Answer telephone calls and manage enquiries appropriately
Book appointments and update patient information on internal systems
Maintain confidentiality and comply with GDPR and NHS policies
Provide general administrative and clerical support as required
Essential Requirements
Previous experience in a reception or customer‑facing role
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Good IT and keyboard skills with accurate data entry
Ability to work calmly in a busy, fast‑paced environment
A professional, friendly, and flexible approach
Understanding of confidentiality and data protection
Desirable Experience
Previous experience within an NHS or healthcare setting
Familiarity with NHS systems (training can be provided)
