Job SummaryThis is an exciting opportunity to join our supportive, forward‑looking Orthopaedic Therapy Team. You will work closely with physiotherapy, occupational therapy, orthopaedic consultants, matrons, ward sisters and the community musculoskeletal team to deliver integrated care. The team is actively involved in research, audit and service development, with plans for physiotherapy‑led pre‑operative clinics and a strong focus on enhancing patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide assessment and intervention to a wide range of orthopaedic patients, including those with physical and cognitive impairments across elective and trauma settings, as well as patients with spinal cord injury.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality, patient‑centred care.
- Contribute to research projects such as the FAME, RaCeR‑2 and OPAL trials and support clinical audits as required.
- Participate in continuous professional development, attend relevant conferences (BOA, CSP, World Physiotherapy Conferences) and share knowledge with colleagues.
- Qualified and HCPC registered physiotherapist.
- Previous experience working within orthopaedics.
- Positive, proactive clinician capable of working flexibly and supporting service development.
Core hours: 8:00 am–4:00 pm. You will work as part of a seven‑day roster.
