Site Agent

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Agent to join a rail infrastructure project in Swansea. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a temporary-to-permanent position with a long-term pipeline of work for the right individual.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Managing day-to-day site operations and supervising site teams and subcontractors

• Ensuring works are delivered in line with programme, specifications, and quality standards

• Supporting the Project Manager with planning, reporting, and progress updates

• Ensuring full compliance with rail safety standards and procedures

• Managing RAMS, permits to work, and site documentation

• Coordinating inspections, quality checks, and site records

• Liaising with Network Rail representatives, engineers, and stakeholders

• Managing health, safety, environmental, and quality performance on site

• Supporting the pre-construction and commercial teams by assisting tender bid submissions and providing technical input and cost information where required

Requirements:

• Proven experience working as a Site Agent on rail infrastructure projects

• Experience in railway footbridge and railway vehicle bridge construction and planning

• Experience in railway station construction and planning

• Experience in utilities diversion works, including planning and construction

• Strong knowledge of rail construction methodology and sequencing

• SMSTS essential

• Valid CSCS card

• PTS certification required

• Experience working to Network Rail standards and procedures

• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
