Teaching Assistant

Full‑time Teaching Assistant (temporary) based in Swansea, starting September. Pay £14.25 per hour.

Support pupils with varying levels of Additional Learning Needs across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 in a primary school setting. Work alongside teachers to facilitate classroom activities, promote engagement, and aid pupils’ academic and social development.

• Assist with classroom activities and teaching sessions.
• Provide support to pupils with ALN in primary school classrooms.
• Promote engagement and support pupils’ academic and social development.
• Work across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
• Maintain a caring, patient and flexible approach.

• Experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a UK Primary School
• Experience supporting children with ALN in a classroom setting
• A caring, patient and flexible approach to supporting pupils across both Key Stages
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A proactive 'can-do' attitude
• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
