About the Role
Are you ready to take charge and lead impactful projects? Join us as a Project Manager, working on major Electrical Transmission frameworks, with exciting upcoming projects in the South West/ South Wales region.
You will oversee a portfolio of M&E projects, guiding them from start to finish while ensuring the highest standards in health, safety, and environmental management. You'll collaborate with expert teams, manage risks, and deliver projects on time and within budget. Your industry knowledge will also contribute to new bids and help drive team success.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the construction team in delivering a portfolio of M&E projects from initiation to completion
Provide strategic health, safety and environmental leadership to maintain the highest standards
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality requirements
Work closely with the planning team to maintain and monitor delivery programmes
Foster a cohesive project team ethos, ensuring effective collaboration across Construction, Commercial, Design, and Engineering functions
Drive risk management and resolution of technical and contractual matters
Support tender bids for new contracts using your industry expertise
Assist in preparing monthly commercial performance reports
Lead the management team to achieve financial targets and balanced scorecard outcomes
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
National Grid substation build experience, including knowledge of NG SRs, Rules, and EPC/M&E Frameworks
Proven leadership on Design and Build projects, managing cross-functional teams
Excellent stakeholder management skills with clients and suppliers
Qualification in construction/engineering and/or relevant experience
Project Management qualification (APM, PMP, or similar)
Strong commercial experience with NEC contracts
Demonstrated ability to manage risk and opportunity
Knowledge of regulations including HSWA, CDM, EAWR
Ability to drive projects through all lifecycle stages
Experience managing budgets with a track record of on-time, on-budget delivery
Proficiency with Project Management software
