Student AV technicians learn the basics of audio/visual operations and use those skills to run campus audiovisual systems in support of campus events. Level I technicians go through a semester-long training process and will be required to demonstrate their technical ability before advancing to a level II technician. A Level II technician is expected to be able to handle basic events on campus with minimal supervision, effectively managing events and troubleshooting issues on their own.

Assignments may include:

• Running live sound for chapel/convo, lectures, meetings, recitals or concerts
• Setting up video/data projection for meetings, lectures, movie night on the lawn, concerts
• Streaming video of sporting events, music and theater recitals, and lectures
• Editing production recordings, sweetening audio, and publishing finished content
• …and much more!

If you have experience with audio/visual equipment or would like to learn this is a great chance to use your skills and enjoy campus events.
