Multi-Unit Team Leader

The Multi-Unit Team Leader provides leadership over three H&R Block tax offices and leads customer‑centric teams to accelerate seasonal tax business. This role is not remote and requires in‑person work. You will start with a flexible part‑time schedule in the fall to prepare for the busy tax season and transition to full‑time from January through April, including evenings and weekend hours as needed.

Prior tax preparation experience is not required.

• Provide leadership over three H&R Block tax offices and the customer‑centric teams in those offices to accelerate seasonal tax business.
• Serve as the front‑line manager responsible for leadership and development of associates, delivering an outstanding client experience, and achieving office growth objectives for three offices.
• Lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information to tax office associates.
• Create associate work schedules across all offices and ensure accurate timekeeping and labor management for associates in all offices.
• Travel between offices as required.
• Prepare tax returns as needed, upon successful completion of the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment (as applicable).

• People management experience with the ability to grow and develop associates; multi‑unit leadership experience in retail, restaurant, banking, or related industries is a plus.
• Demonstrated aptitude for growth plan execution and the ability to lead toward a growth culture.
• Strong decision‑making and judgment skills; able to perform in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer‑centric mindset that seeks to understand and exceed client needs.
• Computer proficiency with the ability to use MS Office.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or high school diploma with equivalent experience.
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if you will be preparing tax returns).
• Willingness to travel between offices as required.
• Enrollment in or completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment is not a guarantee of employment.
