This Registered Nurse position is regularly scheduled, full-time or part-time, and includes benefits. The work schedule is flexible and driven by organizational needs. The RN must be competent in multiple hospital areas and adaptable to various assignments to meet changing nursing care needs.

The Clinical Resource Unit's mission is to provide highly competent, professional, and flexible staffing to patient care areas, enhancing the organization's ability to meet patient, family, unit, and provider needs. The RN is responsible for managing clinical outcomes, costs, and customer satisfaction in daily care and unit operations. The employee ensures patient and family care reflects organizational values.

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Current Indiana RN license.
  • Basic Life Support certification; additional certifications may be required per department.
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Clinical reasoning, decision-making, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to promote compassion and a therapeutic environment.
  • Effective communication skills, including non-verbal cues.
  • Recognition and appreciation of cultural diversity.
  • Maintaining patient confidentiality at a high level.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
