Summary

Accountable and responsible for the development and implementation of business planning and directing for Plant Operations. The functions include the planning, organizing, and direction of personnel engaged in Plant Operations and Biomedical. The Director is responsible for the management and direction of administration and financial activities for areas of responsibility. The Director approves all new services and/or changes to existing services, coordinates services with other departments, and directs preparation of department records.

Under limited supervision, works with contractors, architects, and staff personnel to develop harmonious working relationships to complete projects on schedule and within budget as specified. Manages and oversees designated capital planning, design-build, renovation, and new construction projects. Presents or assists in the presentation of capital projects planning and construction to various administrative groups.

Position Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Preferred Education: Master's Degree (MS, MBA)
• Minimum Experience: 3 years management experience in a related work situation. Proficient in spreadsheet, email, and word processing software.
• Preferred Experience: Multi-disciplinary experience to include supervision, performance improvement, budgeting, business/financial management, personnel management, regulatory compliance, planning, and program development in the profit sector and/or hospital.
• Certifications Preferred: CFM, PE, RA
