Setup Coordinator

Varies based on experience. Starts at $17.50 per hour.

The Setup Coordinator is a central and important role to our organization. This individual is responsible for coordinating setup of event areas and event-related cleaning in event rooms. Strong communication skills, organization, and attention to detail are essential to this position. This is a part time position, with varying hours, (10-20 hours weekly), depending on events. It can occasionally include evening and weekend hours.

The weekly schedule is somewhat flexible and hours vary depending on the schedule of events.

• Coordinate tear down, setup, and cleaning of event rooms
• Inventory and order linens weekly
• Maintain current knowledge of cleaning standards and methods

• Effective time-management and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to problem-solve and work independently in a changing and fast-paced environment
• Proven ability to take input and direction, and follow through with projects that support organizational goals in an independent and reliable manner
• Must be able to routinely lift 25 lbs repeatedly
• Must be able to carry 40-50 lbs routinely
• Must be able to use a dolly to push around and balance stacks of chairs up to 5 feet tall and up to 120 lbs heavy
• Must be comfortable working on ladders
