We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care and ensuring the delivery of high-quality and safe healthcare services. The successful candidate will collaborate with healthcare professionals, monitor patients' conditions, administer medications, educate patients and their families, and advocate for the best interests and well-being of patients.
Qualifications- Valid and current nursing license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and best practices in nursing care.
- Demonstrated clinical proficiency in performing various nursing procedures, such as medication administration and wound care.
- Excellent critical‑thinking and problem‑solving skills to assess complex situations, prioritize tasks, and make informed decisions.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced healthcare setting, adapting to changing priorities and patient needs.
- Proficiency in using healthcare technology.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and maintain knowledge of current healthcare trends, research, and evidence‑based practices.
- Perform comprehensive physical assessments of patients, evaluate their health conditions, and record relevant medical history.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures following established protocols and guidelines.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, laboratory results, and overall health status, promptly identifying and reporting any significant changes or abnormalities.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians, pharmacists, and other members of the healthcare team, to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families regarding their medical conditions, medications, treatments, and self‑care techniques, ensuring they have a thorough understanding of their healthcare plan.
- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families, promoting a compassionate and healing environment.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date medical records, including nursing assessments, care plans, progress notes, and documentation of medication administration and treatments.
- Adhere to infection control protocols, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards to ensure a safe and clean healthcare environment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and facilitate the efficient delivery of patient care, including scheduling tests and procedures, arranging consultations, and ensuring timely discharge planning.
- Advocate for patients' rights, preferences, and best interests, ensuring their voices are heard and respected in decision‑making processes.
This is a salaried position. Pay begins at $43/hour.
