SUMMARY

As the Sales Trainee, you will engage and assist Dutchmen Regional Sales Managers in outcome‑oriented business development practices and work diligently promoting our products and providing proactive communication and first‑class support and service to our customers to maximize our market potential.

• Must be able to set priorities, meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks while maintaining a calm disposition in pressured situations.
• Able to communicate the value and benefit of our products.
• Minimum 2 year college degree preferred.
• Partnering with Regional Sales Managers and making client visits as necessary.
• Regularly promoting and maintaining favorable customer relations by participating in and/or arranging training programs for customers, their associates, or other groups, entertaining customers at appropriate events, and participating in our local industry trade show.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Solution driven; highly creative, with strong problem solving skills. Able to analyze factors, develop effective sales strategy, anticipate and exceed client expectations.
• High level of determination, initiative, perseverance and resiliency. Able to establish priorities and meet objectives with limited direction.
• Able to maintain a “can do” attitude.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and our CRM.
• Able to travel up to 25% but not limited to 5 consecutive days at a time.
• Having reliable transportation.
• Summarizing information and running reports for our district managers.
• Having a passport and being able to enter Canada.
