Industrial Sales Manager - Midwest
Genesis Products is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager for Industrial Products. The role involves selling to manufacturers of Kitchen & Bath Cabinets, Store Fixtures, Commercial and Residential Furniture, and distributors of Interior Building Materials.
The manager will drive profitable sales growth by developing relationships with new and existing Industrial OEM customers and distributors, creating long‑term relationships, and initiating profitable growth in partnership with existing customers.
Primary Responsibilities- Oversee long‑ and short‑range sales and marketing strategies, including competitive analysis and identification of new market opportunities to ensure market share and profitability.
- Work with Product Teams to develop pricing strategy, analyze market information and recommend new products, market penetration, competition, and new business opportunities.
- Coordinate with Marketing Team to analyze sales statistics and determine business growth potential.
- Interact with product management and engineering for market and customer research, product development, pricing, and life‑cycle management.
- Direct and coordinate market research studies and analysis of geographic areas to determine feasibility of expanding the sales program.
- Generate profitable sales on existing and new customers of approximately $8–10 million per year.
- Create and implement annual forecasts, including revenue, profits, and expenses.
- Increase profitability of existing business.
- Work with product management team to enhance current products, develop new products, and deliver those opportunities to market.
- Effectively manage and expand the sales pipeline.
This position reports to the VP of Industrial Sales.
