Are you looking for a hands-on role where no two days are the same? We are looking for a Process Assistant - Output to join our busy Printing and Output Team in Gosport. This is a varied and rewarding role where you'll support the production and dispatch of , printed communications and other secure outputs, helping to deliver critical services within a highly regulated environment.
You'll join a supportive team where collaboration, accuracy and attention to detail are valued, with full training provided across multiple areas of the operation. This is a hands-on operational role within a secure production environment. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of printing, output and dispatch activities, including loading materials into large production machines, moving large boxes of paper and handling completed outputs.
As such, candidates should be comfortable undertaking regular manual handling activities as part of their day-to-day responsibilities Please note that this role includes regular manual handling activities and candidates must be comfortable with the physical demands of moving and lifting materials required to support the team's printing and output operations. This is a full-time, office-based role in Gosport, working within core operational hours of 6:30am to 7:00pm on a rota basis.
Due to the nature of the work and the secure environment, this role is based entirely on site. Security Clearance: SC (MOD). Contract Type: 12-month Fixed Term Contract. What you will be doing:
- Processing work in line with agreed procedures, business rules and operational requirements.
- Producing, printing and dispatching , letters and other secure outputs.
- Operating and maintaining printing and production equipment to ensure high-quality outputs.
- Resolving routine queries, escalating issues where appropriate and maintaining accurate records.
- Scheduling and prioritising daily workloads to meet service requirements and deadlines.
- Updating information across systems and databases whilst maintaining audit compliance.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate work.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage workloads effectively.
- Confidence working within a structured team environment and following procedures.
- Good customer service and communication skills, including handling telephone and email queries.
- IT literacy, including experience using Microsoft Office applications and data entry systems.
- A good level of physical fitness and the ability to undertake manual handling activities, including lifting and moving boxes of paper, loading production equipment and working on your feet for extended periods
- Experience working in an administrative, production, mailroom, printing or operational environment.
- Experience handling sensitive or personal information in a secure setting.
- Knowledge of working in a highly regulated environment with strict procedures and compliance requirements.
