Blossom Health Gosport is looking to recruit a salaried GP to cover 6 sessions per week.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our friendly forward-thinking practice in Gosport. Located on the ground floor of Gosport War Memorial Hospital and with a rapidly expanding practice list size of 5935 patients our current practice team is made up of 2 Salaried GPs, 2 prescribing ANPs, a practice nurse, respiratory nurse, diabetic nurse, an advanced HCA and a Phlebotomist all supported by our friendly reception and admin teams.

• You will be expected to undertake all the normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care.

We have an excellent working relationship with our neighbouring practices via our PCN with access to Pharmacists and Pharmacy technicians, First Contact Practitioners, Health andWell Being Coaches and Social Prescribers.

Rated Good across all areas byCQC, the surgery has an incredibly friendly atmosphere, and everyone has an opportunity to offer suggestions and voice opinions on the development of services.

Salary is negotiable & will be proportionate to thelevel of experience and responsibility.

• To provide excellent patient care
• The post-holder will manage a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients.
• Participate in setting standards for care and auditing clinical outcomes.
• Screening patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness.
• Recording clear and contemporaneous consultation notes to agreed standards
• Prescribing in accordance with the Practice prescribing formulary or generically whenever this is clinically appropriate.

• Qualified GP
• MRCGP
• Vocational Training Certificate or equivalent JCPTGP
• General Practitioner (Certificate of Completion of Training CCT)
• Full GMC Registration
• Eligibility to practice in the UK independently
• National Performers List registration
• Appropriate defence indemnity (MPS/MDU)
