Position: Food and Nutrition Teacher (Permanent)
Are you a qualified Food & Nutrition teacher who enjoys building confidence, developing life skills, and helping students understand food, health and wellbeing?

We’re supporting a rapidly improving secondary school in Gosport seeking a Food & Nutrition teacher to join them on a permanent basis from September 2026.

This is a well-supported role within a positive, inclusive school that values practical learning, student engagement and staff wellbeing.

The Role

* Teach Food & Nutrition across KS3 and KS4

* Deliver engaging, practical lessons

* Support students to develop life skills and healthy habits

* Contribute to planning and assessment within a collaborative department

* Maintain high standards in a practical classroom setting

Who Should Apply?

* Qualified Food & Nutrition teachers

* Teachers with Design Technology (Food) experience

* Teachers with limited KS4 experience (applications welcome)

Requirements

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

* Ability to teach Food & Nutrition at KS3 and KS4

* Strong subject knowledge

* A positive, relationship-focused approach
