This would suit a Learning Support Assistant with relevant education, youth work or care experience who can support learners with additional needs in a college environment.

You will provide one-to-one and small-group support, helping post-16 learners access lessons, follow routines and work towards individual goals.
- Adapt instructions and resources under tutor guidance to make learning accessible.
- Reinforce communication, practical skills and independence through agreed activities.
- Support engagement and emotional regulation using individual support plans.
- Share observations with tutors and support staff to review progress and next steps.
- Experience as a Learning Support Assistant
, or credible transferable experience supporting young people with SEND. - A Learning Support Assistant who builds respectful relationships and encourages learners to make choices for themselves.
- Post-16 or specialist provision experience is advantageous, alongside clear communication and teamwork.
- Safeguarding awareness and an enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one.
- Use your SEND support skills in a post-16 setting focused on learner independence.
- Discuss your preferred days, travel area and interest in supply or longer-term work with Reeson Education.
