Engineering Specialist   Full-time role, 37.5 hours a week on a term time only basis   HMS Sultan, Portsmouth   Due to the nature of this role, you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance at SC level.

* Job Description:

**** What you’ll be doing
*** Delivering training to groups of up to 24 trainees in:
Electrical engineering and machine principles (NVQ Level 4/5) and Basic electronics and mathematics (Level 2/3)
* Demonstrating practical electrical and machine concepts during lab sessions
* Supervising trainee-led laboratory work aligned with module content
* Administering and invigilated both paper-based and online examinations
* Marking and check-marking assessments to ensure accuracy and consistency
* Maintaining and updating training materials with Training Design staff
** What we’re looking for
**** Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications
*** You will have at least a Foundation Degree in Electrical Engineering (or a related engineering discipline), or an HND/FdSc in Electrical Engineering or proven teaching/practical experience in Electrical Engineering
** Desirable Skills/Experience/Qualifications
*** Experience in the theory and practical use of Electrical Machines (DC Motors/Generators, AC Motors/Generators) and Three Phase AC systems.
* Classroom experience in teaching technical subjects in an adult education environment, ideally with at least a Level 4 teaching qualification.
* Experience of the Defence Systems Approach to Training (or equivalent).
