Training Delivery Instructor - Mechanical Engineering; Refrigeration

Responsibilities

• Deliver training in MESD modules (Refrigeration/gases/equipment) as directed by the Department Training Manager in accordance with the Training Plan and Sultan Training Standing Operating Procedures.
• Assist in maintaining and updating training documentation.
• Assess student coursework and provide feedback on performance.
• Take responsibility for the duty of care and progression of trainees during training delivery.
• Ensure Company security, health, safety and environmental procedures are implemented and complied with at all times.
• Maintain CPD recording all training evidence.

• Minimum level 3 Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficiency in use of IT (hardware/software) within the workplace.
• Experience in mechanical engineering principles, either through work experience or direct employment.
• Eligibility for UK Security Clearance at SC level.
• Desirable: FGAS Certification.
• Desirable: DCTS Defence Train The Trainer Course or equivalent (successful completion).

Salary up to £42,000 (pro rata for term time only).

HMS Sultan, Portsmouth (Onsite). Term time only basis, 45 weeks per year with specific holidays.
