Training Delivery Instructor
- Mechanical Engineering Full-time role, 37.5 hours a week on a term time only basis HMS Sultan, Portsmouth Due to the nature of this role, you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance at SC level. Help get better trained personnel to the front line faster
- Your role will be to deliver training across Marine Engineering Mechanical Training group focussing on the diagnosis, repair, operation and maintenance of a ship's auxiliary equipment and systems. What you'll be doing

  • Deliver Mechanical Marine Engineering training on ship auxiliary systems in line with the Sultan Training Plan
  • Build strong relationships with customers and colleagues within the Marine Engineering Electrical training area.
  • Maintain and update training materials, assess coursework, and provide constructive feedback to learners.
  • Apply best practice to drive quality improvements across Royal Navy training programmes.
  • Ensure learner safety, progression, and achievement of KPIs and SLAs during all training phases, including simulated environments.
  • Collaborate with Learning & Development teams to personalise learning journeys and maintain your CPD portfolio.
  • Minimum Level 3 Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Proficient in the use of IT (hardware/software) within the workplace.
  • Competent Mechanical hand skills.
Desirable Skills/Experience/Qualifications

Any experience in Electrical Engineering would be highly beneficial.
