Sr Finance Transformation Manager

OverviewThis role is a 2‑year fixed, project role to follow our ERP implementation. You will be responsible for driving the effective transformation and standardization of segment processes and master data, ensuring alignment with the Global Template, Master Data rules, and Business Process Framework. The role will support our Food service segment ERP rollout, but may pivot to support other segment rollouts as required.
Location& Travel
The strong preference is for this role to be located in the UK
, with secondary preferences of Spain or Poland
. Travel requirement will be 25‑50%.
- Act as the subject matter expert for finance processes (Record‑to‑Report, Procure‑to‑Pay, Order‑to‑Cash).
- Translate business needs into clear ERP requirements and make key process decisions during design workshops and fit‑gap analysis.
- Design workflows, controls, and reporting structures within the ERP system.
- Ensure ERP design aligns with global finance standards and validate that ERP configurations meet compliance, internal control framework, and reporting requirements. Create mitigation plans for segregation of duties risks.
- Create and maintain process documentation, including workflows, policies and control frameworks, ensuring governance standards embedded for audit readiness.
- Co‑lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for finance processes.
- Champion organisational change by promoting new processes and ERP capabilities.
- Facilitate end‑user training and support adoption across finance teams.
- Collaborate with project managers, consultants and other process owners to resolve issues quickly.
- Define KPIs for ERP‑enabled finance processes and monitor post‑go‑live performance.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and automation.
Design Phase – Build a strong understanding of the Global Process Framework and master data rules, participate in workshops with Global Process Owners, analyze and document local processes, assess data structures, and evaluate alignment with the global template.
Planning Phase – Collaborate with Local Process Owners to develop robust rollout strategies, ensure alignment with the Global Process Framework, serve as an approver for related documentation, and support change management activities.
Execution Phase – Provide direct support to Local Process Owners, ensure consistent implementation across sites, review testing activities, approve test execution reports, and lead ongoing process improvement initiatives after go‑live.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics;
Master’s preferred. - 5+ years’ experience in finance‑related activities within an industrial environment, with deep knowledge of costing.
- Good working knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle highly preferred), especially in relation to business processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Natural leadership abilities and exceptional communication skills, with experience guiding implementation teams and supporting organisational change.
- Strong understanding of global business frameworks and operating models, with a motivation to drive and support global process improvement initiatives.
- Proven experience managing large‑scale, complex projects.
- Flexible and adaptable, able to adjust plans and approaches as circumstances evolve.
