Rehabilitation Technician

Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of the dynamic Fareham and Gosport Community Therapy Team. You will work across both Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy to deliver high quality care and rehabilitation to patients with a range of functional and rehabilitative needs in line with holistic community practice.

The post holder will be responsible for their own caseload, working within a scope of practice under the direction/supervision of a registered practitioner, therefore being able to demonstrate experience of working in a therapy role is required.

• Motivated individual, good at working within a busy team environment.
• Excellent organisation and communication skills, with ability to be flexible and adaptable, working in a pressurised environment.
• Proficient IT skills.
• Access to a vehicle and possession of a full driving licence.

There are CPD opportunities that support development of clinical skills as well as structured supervision, peer support groups and appraisals.

The service currently runs a Monday to Friday service, however there may be requirement for 7 day cover in future.
