Administrative Assistant – Life Skills and Transition Center
ND Health and Human Services (ND HHS) invites applications for the Administrative Assistant position at the Life Skills and Transition Center in Grafton, ND.
LocationOn-site in Grafton within the Therapy Services area of the Life Skills and Transition Center.
ResponsibilitiesAs an Administrative Assistant, you will support the daily operations of the Therapy Department and the Adaptive Equipment Services (AES) program. Your duties include:
- Welcoming and providing professional, first‑point contact for all individuals entering the Therapy Clinic.
- Answering, routing phone calls, relaying messages, assisting with problem‑solving, and managing the flow of daily services.
- Documenting and distributing meeting minutes for team meetings, and providing support for special projects in collaboration with the Director.
- Ordering supplies, maintaining inventory, and organizing materials throughout service areas.
- Managing training schedules and coordinating calendars.
- Associate’s degree and at least one year of experience in administrative/office support OR high school diploma/equivalent and at least three years of related experience.
- Proficiency with computer use and office software.
- Positive attitude, respect for others, and strong critical‑thinking and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
