Material Handler, Forklift Operator
Job Overview
In this position, you will be responsible for supporting production by maintaining warehouse accuracy and ensuring prompt parts requests; this is vital to production success. This role requires an individual that is highly focused on safety, can handle a high volume of parts requests, and has the ability to prioritize. It is essential that a Material Handler can work independently and as part of a diverse team, continuously striving to improve productivity, effectiveness, quality, and safety.
ScheduleMonday – Thursday: 5:00 am – 3:30 pm
Highlights of Your Role- Move product to and from the warehouse as needed.
- Learn to identify all parts in the warehouse.
- Make electronic transactions to match material movement, maintaining an accurate inventory.
- Cross‑train to multiple areas of Warehouse and Receiving.
- Operate all lift equipment associated to the area.
- Rotate jobs as requested by the Lead.
- Must be able to work safely and comply with 5S requirements.
- Ability to obtain a Powered Industrial Vehicle license.
- Ability to operate computers and scanners, specifically for inventory control programs.
- Knowledge of warehouse functions.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Good housekeeping skills.
