Job Description:
Join our team at Aurora Medical Center Grafton as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, where you will play a vital role in diagnostic imaging that helps clinicians provide accurate patient care. This position involves working weekday daytime hours with a standard 8-hour shift. You will be on an on-call rotation, primarily one weekend every 5-6 weeks, and responsible for covering at least one holiday on call, ensuring patient safety and operational continuity.
Your responsibilities include preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining strict safety and quality standards.
Certifications and Licenses:
- Licensed as a Medical Radiologic Technician (or equivalent license as required by state)
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification
- Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB or equivalent) Certification
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Proven experience in nuclear medicine imaging techniques and patient positioning
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Flexibility to participate in on-call rotations, including weekends and holidays
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology, Radiologic Technology, or related field
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting
- Experience with advanced imaging modalities and diagnostic procedures
