Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
Bag groceries at checkout, ensuring contents are not damaged and using best practices for various bag types.Assist in removing customer's merchandise from baskets for checkout.Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of grocery specials.Return merchandise to shelves and gather/return shopping carts.Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store, including spills and trash pickup.Handle seasonal merchandise and understand store layout for product location and price checks.Reinforce safety programs, comply with safety procedures, and report unsafe conditions.Adhere to food safety regulations and perform preventive maintenance on equipment.Create a welcoming environment, answer customer questions, and support diverse customer needs.Follow all laws, regulations, and company guidelines, managing conflicts professionally and acting with integrity.Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.Qualifications
Minimum Position Qualifications:
Retail experience is preferred but not required.
