Housekeeping 2nd Shift

Housekeeping Position Overview

Performs custodial duties as needed, assists in sanitation control, and checks safety hazards. Receives supervision from the Production Manager and does not supervise other employees.

This is a full‑time 2nd shift position that works Monday–Friday, 8 hours a day.

• Performs cleaning and janitorial duties, and may include limited ground maintenance.
• Reports needs for major repairs to maintenance.
• Keeps janitor's closets and supply area neat and orderly, and reports supply orders to purchasing.
• Cleans debris from entrances and sidewalks.
• Controls sanitation and waste disposal of all office and communal areas of the plant.
• Assists in checking plant/production areas for safety hazards and reports any deficiency.
• Follows the regular cleaning schedule for all areas of the plant.
• Maintains a clean working environment for themselves and the rest of the plant.

• Some custodial experience required.
• Ability to assist in keeping the plant clean and orderly.

• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
• Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
• Frequently required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
• Ability to read applicable instructions.
• Physically able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, and reach.
