Position Opportunity
An assistant operator’s role involves multiple positions and is designed to provide support to operators. Duties include loading valves and caps into hoppers, performing routine visual checks to ensure code/package date is correct and legible, ensure finished goods are in the right stacking pattern, wrapped securely, and labeled correctly. Assistant operators also provide lunches and breaks at assigned areas.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities- Ability to keep up with the tempo of the line.
- Performs a visual check on the quality of the product. (Specifically looking for proper code/manufacturing date, and general overall appearance of the product.)
- Ability to load valves and/or caps into a hopper.
- Change the date on the printer if needed.
- Ability to reada pressure gauge.
- Work at various heights: 4-foot ladder.
- Assist in cleaning the room at the end of the shift or participating in shift pass offs.
- Familiarity with multiple machines to assist with breaks.
- Will be exposed to non-climate control areas (hot and cold areas)
Education/Training/
Certifications:
High School Diploma / GED
Knowledge/Skills
Experience:
- Responsible for knowing and adhering to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
- Always follow our safety protocols.
- Frequently required standing, reaching, bending, kneeling, and moving around the facility.
- Work in high noise areas and use mandatory hearing protection.
- Ability to stack boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Able to effectively work in a team environment.
- Could read and interpret documents.
