The Press Brake Operator sets up and operates press brakes to form parts using a variety of metals.

• Select, load, install correct tooling; determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces.
• Perform quality inspections of parts to produce products that exceed customer expectations.
• Work from live schedule, verbal and written instructions, bills of material, routing, samples, blueprints, and control plans.
• Maintain good housekeeping in the work area and stage completed product on skids.
• Act responsibly to follow safe operating practices.
• Perform other work‑related duties as assigned.
• Complete and demonstrate proficiency on all 30, 60, 90, and 180 day training requirements for the position.

• Dimensional measuring, shop math competence, and basic computer skills.
• Capable of using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints/engineering drawings.
• Effective communication skills to discuss and understand work procedures, training, general direction, and other issues with coworkers and supervisor.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum one year manufacturing experience or education experience directly related to press brake operation.
• 2+ years setup and operating experience, preferably with Trumpf equipment (preferred).
• Previous metal fabrication background (strongly preferred).
