Alamance County Jail

Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (FT LPN)

3/4 12‑Hour Night Shift Rotation (Alternating Weekends)

• Provide hands‑on patient care with confidence and compassion.
• Assess symptoms, reactions, and progress; chart accurately and efficiently.
• Build and follow patient‑centered nursing plans within state scope and provider guidance.
• Administer medications safely and in alignment with correctional standards.
• Support established treatment plans.
• Utilize strong assessment and critical‑thinking skills.
• Respond effectively to emergencies.
