Responsibilities- Take charge of Family and Investigative Assessments, stepping in to make a real difference from day one.
- Be the go-to professional for a range of child welfare needs, including follow-up home visits, in-home services, and foster care cases.
- Safely and responsibly transport clients, ensuring their well-being.
- Prepare and deliver reports for court, documenting every contact and treatment plan with precision and clarity.
- Stand as a credible expert witness in court, presenting findings and testifying in hearings with professionalism.
- Engage with the public in challenging situations, motivating others and ensuring safety for all involved, including when handling differing views on laws, rules, or policies.
- Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited school (Child Welfare Collaborative) plus one year of social work experience, or
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from an accredited school (Child Welfare Collaborative) with one year of social work or counseling experience, or
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from an accredited school with two years of social work or counseling experience, or
- Master’s degree in a related field from an accredited school plus two years of social work or counseling experience, or
- Four-year degree in Human Services or a related field with three years of social work or counseling experience, or
- Bachelor’s degree and four years of experience in rehabilitation, pastoral counseling, or related human services with expertise in casework, group work, or community organization.
Equivalency: If you have an equivalent combination of training and experience, we want to hear from you.
Additional Requirements- A certified college transcript and letter of reference may be required upon request.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- A valid North Carolina driver’s license and a clean driving record aligned with Alamance County policies.
