Production Assembler; SMT

1st shift - 7:00am - 3:30pm (Mon-Fri)

$40,500/year or $19.47/hour

Temp to Direct

Build through-hole and surface mount printed circuit board assemblies. Build upper level assemblies consisting of cabinets and chassis, placing components and hardware on final builds per controlled parts list, drawing documentation and quality workmanship guidelines.

Perform manual placement and solder through hole components per specifications. Install electronic components, hardware, apply solder mask, and apply solder tape to boards. Perform electronic data entry work into computer system. Be responsible for crimping, soldering, reading drawings and schematics. Be responsible to navigate through work order management system. Work as an effective team member focused on meeting/exceeding business goals and creating a safe working environment and culture.

Proactively and positively work with others to increase productivity and reduce cost.

• High School Diploma/GED
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Basic component identification skills
• Ability to read and follow assembly instructions
• Ability to use tools including pneumatic and standard crimpers, hand tools and power tools
• Basic soldering skills
• Ability to work in multifunctional team environment
