Overview
Position: CHS Travel: OB Ultrasonographer - Ultrasound Tech/ Radiology (R) - DAYS
The Ultrasound Technician is a graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT), maintains a State License as a general radiographer, and/or is a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS). The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols.
Responsibilities- Abdominal, pelvic (gynecological & obstetrical), and transvaginal sonograms.
- Scanning small parts (thyroid, breast & scrotum).
- Ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis and aspirations.
Start: ASAP - Clinic Position
Shift: DAYS M-F 8A-5P NO CALL
Requirements- ARDMS and ARC/AHA
- OB ultrasound certification
- BLS (AHA OR ARC)
- MFM (Maternal Fetal Medicine)
- 1 YEAR EXPERIENCE
- Entry level
