Qualifications- Current ARRT required.
- Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) required.
- Current, valid, and active certification to practice as a Radiology Tech in the state of employment required.
- Two (2) years of recent experience required.
- State Fluoroscopy license required where applicable.
- Current, valid, and active driver’s license required.
- Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation.
- Recent acute care experience for acute care and LTAC placements.
- Current ARRT required.
- Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) required.
- Current, valid, and active certification to practice as a Radiology Tech in the state of employment required.
- Current BLS certification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor required.
- AHA preferred and required by some clients.
- ACLS may be required by some clients.
- Minimum of 1 year experience scrubbing for cardiac cath procedures.
- State Fluoroscopy license required where applicable.
- Patient Preparation and Positioning:
Accurately position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety while adhering to radiation protection protocols. - Equipment Operation:
Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy, CT scanners, and ultrasound machines, to obtain high-quality images. - Assistance During Procedures:
Assist physicians during interventional procedures by providing necessary instruments and supplies, and by maintaining a sterile environment. - Contrast Media Administration:
Prepare and administer contrast media under the direction of a physician, following established protocols. - Image Evaluation and Archiving:
Evaluate images for technical quality and ensure proper archiving in the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS). - Patient Monitoring:
Monitor patients during procedures, observing for any complications or unusual events, and report findings to the physician.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and efficient in high-stress, emergent situations.
- Familiarity with common cath lab and IR imaging systems.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
