Job SummaryAs a Transportation CNA at Avir at Paluxy, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and secure transportation of our patients to and from our rehabilitation center. With a focus on providing exceptional patient care and a patient-centered approach, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to deliver compassionate and personalized care to our patients.
ResponsibilitiesSafely transport patients to and from appointments, therapy sessions, and other scheduled activities
Ensure proper use of wheelchairs, walkers, and other assistive devices
Provide basic care and hygiene assistance as needed
Document patient transportation and care provided
Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
Maintain a clean and organized transportation area
Schedule appointments for residents
Set up alternate transportation as needed
Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients as needed
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Basic life support (BLS) certification
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly
