American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Dept night shift position requiring TX or compact RN licensure and trauma/stroke/chest pain center experience.

• 13-room, 19-bed/chair Emergency Department setting
• Patient ratio of 3 or 4:1
• Night shift schedule, 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• No on-call responsibilities
• No floating required
• No 48-hour scheduling requirement
• Uses MEDHOST EMR

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required
• PALS or TNCC certification required (AHA or ARC)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Dept experience required
• Trauma, stroke, and chest pain center experience required
• Certifications must not expire within first 30 days of assignment start
• Titers must be in hand at time of consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• Royal blue scrub color required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Travel experience preferred, though first-time travelers may be considered
• RTO requests must be submitted at time of consideration and be less than one week
• Candidates who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
