Location: East Granby, CT

Schedule: Onsite - 2nd Shift;
Mon-Fri 3:30pm - 12:00am

Pay Rate: $23-30/hour + 15% shift differential

• Final inspection of finished aerospace engine parts and components
• Measure various features and holes on part or component and determine if the part is acceptable to customer requirements
• Perform visual and dimensional inspection using required gaging and measuring equipment
• Interpret operation sheets and blueprints to meet customer criteria for an acceptable part
• Ensure that all parts being inspected meet criteria for an acceptable part
• If a part is defective or needs re-work, complete required paperwork associated with this task

• 2+ years of inspection experience in an aerospace or general manufacturing environment is a plus
• Previous experience performing dimensional and visual inspection in an aerospace environment
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents, blueprints, repair manuals, and customer specifications
• Working knowledge of geometric tolerancing, gages, micrometers, borescopes and other measuring tools
• A strong background in manufacturing and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Proficiency in operating CMMs using PCDMIS and/or MODUS software (highly desirable)
• Previous experience performing incoming, in-process, or final inspections in a turbine engine repair environment (highly desirable)

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent is required
