GENERAL SUMMARY

• Performs electroneurodiagnostic testing.
• Performs set up and preparation of equipment/supplies for ordered test.
• Reviews patient's history, obtains necessary information or documentation and educates patient about procedures.
• Monitors and documents patient's condition at all times and reports any adverse reactions.
• Operates and maintains a variety of equipment to obtain diagnostic data, such as EEG, EP and PSG equipment.
• Recognizes and corrects for artifacts.
• Scores/graphs, documents and reports results of diagnostic procedures.

• Required Credential(s):
• BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Credentialed as a Registered Electroencephalography Technologist (R.EEG.T.) or board eligible by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET) standards.
• Candidate must pass ABRET Registry board exams within 2 years of hire date.
• Education:
• High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or associate's degree, or technical degree required.

• Shift length can be 8 or 12 hours.
• Standard hours are 07:00 to 15:30 or 07:00 to 19:30, but can be flexed.
