Coordinator Supply Chain Management Systems

The McLaren system includes 12 hospitals across the state, ambulatory surgery centers, imaging centers, a 730-member employed primary and specialty care physician network, commercial and Medicaid HMOs covering more than 242,000 Michigan lives, home health, infusion and hospice providers, pharmacy services, a clinical laboratory network, and a wholly owned medical malpractice insurance company. McLaren operates Michigan’s largest network of cancer centers and providers, anchored by the Karmanos Cancer Institute, a National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer center.

McLaren has 20,000 full-, part-time and contracted employees and more than 93,000 network providers throughout Michigan.

Initially will function as the internal SME during the implementation of the People Soft (PS) information system general ledger, accounts payable, and asset management module s. Collaborates with IT and finance to ensure business requirements are met through development, implementation and on a go forward basis. Upon implementation, serves as liaison between user departments and Information Services for the People Soft (PS) information system general ledger, accounts payable, and asset management module s .

Recognized as expert in field, knowledgeable of emerging trends and industry practices. Conducts the most complex and vital work critical to the organization.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Prepare data sets, statistical reports, and computer applications to support finance.
• Evaluates thePSsystemandoperationalprocessestoensureefficient operationofallapplications,andqualityandconfidentialityofdata.

6. Ensures that PS applications (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Asset Management and Payroll) are utilized in a most efficient manner and that all applications are in full compliance with McLaren policies and procedures. Serves as user expert on PS features and functions. Keeps current on all enhancements to the PS system through review of upgrades and fixe s .

7. Serves as user coordinator for administration of the security function for general ledger, accounts payable and asset management module s . Maint a i ns and documents the process to define/create appropriate user groups and operator classe s . Determines, with the assistance of the user groups, the specific directories/objects each group will have access to and the processes necessary to implement access.

Ensures that necessary documentation has been completed and necessary authorizations have been given. Communicates changes to all affected departments .

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor’s Degreewithconcentration in business, information systems or related field.
• Ten (10) years’ experience leading complex financial and/or ERP system processes and project.

Preferred:

• Experience working with Peoplesoft – specifically implementation and development of programs and processes
