• Manages activities, workflow and nursing resources for Interventional Radiology.
• Manages and collaborates relationships with leadership members, physicians, for the care of responsible patient populations.
• Work closely with our new IR Physician to improve processes and procedural efficiency to ensure growth for our cardiology and vascular programs.
• Facilitates empowerment of staff in the implementation of creative and innovative patient care delivery models and stimulates a collaborative multidisciplinary team approach in the continuous improvement of patient care services.
• Ident and resolves issues affecting the delivery of patient care services for IR.
• Develops and maintains quality monitoring systems for the assigned unit(s).
• Assumes responsibility for fiscal management of the unit.

Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing required. Master’s degree in nursing, business, health management or other related field preferred. ANCC recognized nursing specialty certification preferred.

Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an acute care setting required.

Demonstration of progressive nursing leadership in roles such as Charge Nurse, Assistant Clinical Manager, House Manager, Clinical Coordinator, Clinical Unit Leader, and Chairperson of a Shared Governance Council/Committee or interdisciplinary team (not limited to these examples).

Knowledge of quality management and service excellence.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong interpersonal skills that provide coaching and facilitation expertise.

Excellent problem‑solving skills.

Interventional Radiology or procedural experience preferred.

• Current license to practice in the State of Michigan as a Registered Nurse.
• BCLS/ACLS certification as required per unit standards.

Working conditions are variable with exposure to communicable diseases and other hazards. Driving may be required depending on specialty. Frequent walking, bending, and lifting may be required to perform duties.
