CNA - Nursing Assistant - EPIC Team

Join our EPIC Team! We are looking for a CNA – Nursing Assistant at Nex Care Well Bridge Senior Living.

Our CNAs are more than just caregivers; they are friends and companions who build relationships with our patients and families. They provide assistance with daily living tasks and are key in noticing mood and behavior changes that help identify potential medical issues.

You Will Earn:

• $17.15 per hour base wage
• $0.75–$1.25 per hour for shift premium
• $3.40 per hour hero pay
• Yearly wage increases.

Scheduling:

• 8‑hour shifts
• Full‑time or part‑time available
• First and second shift available

Responsibilities:

• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, families, and visitors.
• Perform and document patient care following individualized care plans (bathing, skin care, preventive and supportive care, routine morning and evening mouth care, shaving, dressing).
• Track and document nutritional intake, vital signs, catheter care, bowel/bladder training, weights, turning, positioning, range of motion, and ambulation.
• Support therapies (physical, psychological, occupational, speech, restorative, recreational) through encouragement and promotion of well‑being.
• Observe and report significant changes in routine or condition to the nursing team.

Qualifications:

• Completed an approved nurse aide training program; current certification required from the state of Michigan.
• Current CNA nursing assistant certification from the state of Michigan (required).
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering passionate, innovative care.
• Team player dedicated to supporting colleagues and getting the job done.
