RN Clinical Coordinator - TCU / Stepdown

Schedule: Full-time Afternoon/Evenings 12pm - 10:30pm

Hospital: Henry Ford Genesys Hospital

Location: Grand Blanc, MI

Under the direction of the Director or Manager of Unit, provides clinical support at the unit level including but not limited to:

• Assists with direct patient care as necessary
• Assists with patient throughout hospital stay (admissions, discharges, transfers)
• Assesses patients' conditions, completing clinical tasks (IV's, blood draws, etc.)
• Responds to all clinical emergency situations and recognizes, resolves and reports immediate situations that jeopardizes patient rights, safety and/or customer service.
• Coaches patient care unit staff in clinical practice, critical thinking and customer service skill development.
• Coordinates bed utilization within inpatient hospital patient care units.

• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing.
• Requires a graduate of an approved professional (RN) nursing program, BSN preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant acute care nursing experience.
• Certified BLS Provider specializing in Basic Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA). Or Certified Instructor.
• ACLS
