WAITER/WAITRESS (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)

Morrison Living is hiring immediately for full‑time and part‑time WAITER/WAITRESS positions. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.

  Tranquility Estates – 4069 East Cook Road, Grand Blanc, MI 48439. Online applications accepted only.
• Schedule:
  
  Monday through Sunday, 10:30 am – 7:00 pm. Full‑time and part‑time shifts are available.

Previous customer service or serving experience preferred. Willing to train!

Takes food and beverage orders and efficiently delivers items to dining room guests.

• Promptly and warmly greet guests; take food and beverage orders efficiently.
• Deliver food promptly; maintain safe food handling and sanitation standards.
• Demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients; advise guests on food and drink combinations and accommodate special requests.
• Communicate with back‑of‑the‑house staff to ensure accurate order delivery and special requests.
• Exhibit exceptional communication skills and a team‑player attitude; remain flexible and patient with guests and staff.
• Collect tickets and follow proper cash‑handling procedures.
• Promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests.
• Maintain sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information.
• Address complaints or issues promptly and relay relevant information to supervisor.
• Ensure dining room is properly set up before and after service; keep area clean and meet sanitation standards.
• Operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, iced‑tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines.
• Assist during special events and functions as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
