Support safe manufacturing production at McCain Foods in Grand Falls with equipment maintenance, sanitation, and rotating shift work. Physical demands include lifting up to 35 to 40 pounds.
McCain Foods (Canada) is seeking a full-time General Labourer for its Fry Plant facility. You will support efficient operations while maintaining safety, quality, and performance standards. The work includes changeovers, GMPs, CCP requirements, production documentation, and required training.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain personal and coworker safety throughout production operations
- Follow changeover policies and operational requirements
- Perform sanitation duties as required
- Troubleshoot, adjust, and maintain production equipment
- Respond to production issues and attend team meetings
- Work rotating 12-hour shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Meet frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting demands
- Complete accurate production documentation using mathematical skills
- Communicate effectively with plant leadership and production employees
- Demonstrate dependable attendance and strong teamwork
