Utility Worker - School Cleaning

Position: Utility Worker I - School Cleaning Role
Join Random Island Academy as a Utility Worker I, focusing on cleaning and maintaining the school environment. This position offers 15 hours per week of designated cleaning responsibilities.

The role is permanent and requires candidates who have a High School Diploma and WHMIS 2015 Certification. Preference will be given to individuals with prior janitorial experience. Additional documentation such as a police records check and a driver’s abstract will also be essential for the role's responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean school building areas and surrounding grounds

• Utilize proper cleaning techniques for equipment

• Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines independently

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

• WHMIS 2015 Certification necessary

• Janitorial experience is a plus

• Must provide a Police Records Check

• Driver's license and driver's abstract required
