Grand Toyota is looking for an experienced automotive professional to lead our Service Department in Grand Falls-Windsor.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Service Manager—or a strong automotive service professional ready to take the next step into leadership—to take ownership of a key department within an established dealership.
As Service Manager, you’ll lead and support our service team, oversee day-to-day department performance, and help ensure an exceptional experience for our customers. You’ll have the opportunity to make an impact through team development, operational improvements, customer satisfaction, and the continued growth and success of the department.
We’re looking for someone who understands the automotive service environment, leads by example, builds strong relationships, and enjoys helping both employees and customers find solutions.
What You’ll Do:- Lead the day-to-day operations and overall performance of the service department
- Hire, train, schedule, coach, and support service team members
- Monitor department performance, productivity, customer satisfaction, and profitability
- Work closely with technicians and service advisors to ensure repairs are completed accurately, efficiently, and to a high standard
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and ensure appropriate follow-up
- Maintain accurate service records, documentation, warranty administration, and department reporting
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements and promptly report incidents and injuries
- Manage service tools and equipment and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers, vendors, and other dealership departments
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop a team
- Solid automotive mechanical and technical knowledge
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills
- A results-focused approach with accountability for department performance
- Ability to adapt, take initiative, and work effectively in a fast-paced dealership environment
- Commitment to continuous learning and improvement
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
We recognize that strong leaders can come from different automotive service backgrounds. Previous Service Manager experience is an asset, but we also welcome applications from experienced automotive service professionals who are ready to take the next step in their career.
- A College Diploma or Trade School Certificate in Automotive Studies is an asset; however, an equivalent combination of automotive knowledge, dealership experience, and leadership experience will also be considered.
- Minimum two (2) years of Service Manager experience preferred
- Toyota or other brand-specific product experience considered an asset
This position offers a $50,000 base salary plus a performance-based bonus
, providing the opportunity to increase overall earnings based on department performance.
