Palliative Care Registered Nurse Position

This role involves working closely with an interdisciplinary team to conduct comprehensive assessments that address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of residents. As a crucial part of the hospice care team, you will maintain confidentiality, navigate Medical Assistance in Dying inquiries, and guide support staff while delivering compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing and palliative care to residents and families

• Perform routine nursing duties per hospice policies and standards

• Document all aspects of resident care meticulously

• Engage in new admissions and assist with bereavement

• Administer medications and transcribe physician orders

Requirements:

• Graduation from accredited School of Nursing

• Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses

• Minimum one year experience in palliative care

• Competency in pain and symptom management

• Physical ability to work 12-hour shifts
