Casual Security Guard - CNRHC

Join Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre as a Casual Security Guard and contribute to the safety and security of patients, visitors, and staff. Engage in proactive patrols and emergency response activities.

This role at CNRHC in Grand Falls-Windsor will involve monitoring security systems, conducting regular patrols, and supporting staff during emergencies. Applicants must be adept in conflict de-escalation and provide excellent customer service to all hospital visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform patrols of premises and parking areas

• Monitor surveillance cameras for security threats

• Ensure only authorized personnel access restricted areas

• Assist during medical and fire emergencies

• Provide customer service and support

Requirements:

• Clear Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check

• Tdap vaccination required for 18+

• English proficiency in speech and writing

• Previous security experience is a plus

• Certification in UOF and MOAB is mandatory
